The moon, the moon, the moon
The moon in all her fullness
Luminous mystery, darkness
and light
The moon, the moon, the moon
The moon in all her fullness
Maiden Blood, Mother Blood,
Wise Blood of life
Turning and turning, reflecting
sunlight
Changing and changing mirroring
the night
Turning and turning, tide after tide
Changing and changing, moon
time inside
Turning and turning, circling
the earth
Changing and changing life,
death, rebirth
Turning and turning the wheel
of the year
Changing and changing,
transmuting our fear.

Pray Like a Woman
04:53
|
|||
Pray, pray like a woman
Pray, pray like a woman
Everyday, hey, hey pray like a
woman
In every way, pray like a woman
From the breast of the Mother
To the blood of our birth
In the song of pleasure
From the lovers of the Earth
In the hour of our longing,
Each flowering start
In our tears, in our laughter
Grow the gardens of the heart
In the body of the Goddess we
shall
dance and sing
In the body of the Goddess love
is circling, circling
Everything . . . spread your
wings.

Mama Lion
04:21
|
|||
Mama lion, mama lion,
Mama lion, mama lion,
Mane white as snow,
eyes clear and keen,
mirror of a knowing soul.
Mama lion, mama lion
Mama lion, mama lion
Voice deep and low,
eyes clear and keen,
mirror of a knowing soul.
A woman of time, a woman
of change
Women of wisdom we have
many names
We bear the children
of the Earth,
For better or worse,
Protect and teach,
of life's joy,
of life's curse,
For that's the way
Of a mama lion, mama lion,
Mama lion, mama lion,
Mane white as snow,
eyes clear and keen,
mirror of a knowing soul.
A woman of mind, a woman of wit
Workin' in the man's world
in the times when it didn't seem fit
She learned her way around
and believe me when challenged
she will hold her ground,
hold her ground.
'Cause she's a mama lion,
mama lion,
Mama lion, mama lion
Mane white as snow,
eyes clear and keen,
mirror of a knowing soul.
Mama lion, mama lion
Mama lion, mama lion
Voice deep and low,
eyes clear and keen,
mirror of a knowing soul.
Mama lion, mama lion . . .

Rainbow Round
03:31
|
|||
I've gotta rainbow round my
shoulders . . .
Sun and rain, oh joy and pain
I've gotta rainbow round my
heart . . .
Sun and rain.
I've gotta rainbow round my hands
Rainbow ribbons right here in
my hands
Rainbow colors all across the land
Every child, woman and man.
Rainbow color shining in your eyes
Beauty rainbow circling the sky
Rainbow colors shining in your eyes
Sometimes you laugh,
sometimes you cry.

How could anyone ever tell you
You were anything less than
beautiful
How could anyone ever tell you
You were less than whole
How could anyone ever notice
That your loving is a miracle
How deeply you're connected
to my soul.

Child of the Universe
03:39
|
|||
I will be gentle with myself
I will love myself
I am a child of the universe
Being born each moment

Oh Baby of Mine
03:52
|
|||
Oh, baby of mine,
oh baby of mine
I sing to your soul,
our hearts intertwine.
Oh child of my blood,
oh child of my bone
I sing to your soul,
I welcome you home.
I give you sun,
I grant you the moon
The spirit has called you forth
from my womb.
Oh rest in my arms, oh rest
in my arms
I'll guard you from fear
and keep you from harm.
The seasons will come,
the seasons will go
With you I become
much more than I know.
I teach you the earth,
you teach me the sky
Together our pain shall pass
by and by.
If we surrender to life's
full embrace
Then we shall receive
the blessings of grace.
No matter what way
your life shall unfold
I'll treasure your love
more precious than gold.
Oh baby of mine,
oh baby of mine
I sing to your soul,
our hearts intertwine.

Lunation
05:19
|
|||
Lay lay lay lay lay . . .
We shall dance beneath the
moon in all her faces
Sing to Grandmother Moon
in all her graces
At the New Moon dark's
dawning
Crescent quickens to the light
There's the First Quarter balance
Building darkness and light
So when Gibbous Moon is
budding to a dominance of light
Then the Full Moon shall peak
in all her brightness
Flowering, illuminating
brightness
Carry on Disseminating
for the fruit must be fulfilled
In the stirring of the darkness
The Last Quarter Moon she will
Break it down to let it go
As the darkness takes her fill
So the Balsamic Moon her wisdom
can distill
That the seeds of future vision be instilled
Dream again through winter's
darkness
Birthing seeds of future's past
Healing serpent sheds an old skin
The new struggles free at last
With the warming of the
springtime
Growth is coming full and fast
While the truth of the light
keeps advancing
Toward the summer dawn
So full of life and dancing
Consummation clearly shining
Now a sharing time begins
Reap the wisdom of the season
Feel the changing autumn wind
Turn around to wane and whither
As the blood moon pulls within
Crone shall seed the soul of future
generations
Release the truth and trust the dark's
creation.

Follow The River Home
04:22
|
|||
There's a river of birds in migration,
A nation of women with wings
There's a river of birds in migration,
A nation of children who sing
There's a river of birds in migration,
A nation of souls who bring
Poetry and prophecy
Ancient cedar, hazelnut tree
Apple bough and silver bells
Weaving the stories of unity
Following, following the river home
I'm following the river home
O'er misty mountain, cutting
through stone
I'm following the river home
Original blessing, wi-na-de-ya-ho
I'm following the river home.
Following, following the river home
I'm following the river home
Ancestor dreams, a journey of soul
We're singing the salmon back home
We're singing the salmon back home
Hey ya! Skookumchuck
Clear strong water's flowing
Forest, river, ocean tide
Oh let salmon live
Oh let wisdom live
Following, following the river home
We're following the river home
Waters of life, heart of the trees
We're singing our beauty back home
Mother nature - wild and free
We're singing our beauty back home
Following, following the river home
I'm following the river home
Earth and Sun, Moon and Stars
I'm following the river home.

Small Green Island
02:46
|

You and I on a
Small green island -
Spinning round and round
in space
And the small green island
is a living being
And we the living proof of
her grace.

Ancestors
04:48
|
|||
As I look out to the night sky,
As I sing out to the sea
As I walk upon the good Earth,
I hear your voice in me
There's a Trail of Tears I hear of
Where so many of you died
The mending of the Great Hoop
Through the healing of our lives
I will listen to the four winds
Light the wings of truth to fly
Touch the ancient trees of giving
Walk in beauty by and by
There's a body burned to ashes
Yet the song it will survive
How you cannot kill the spirit
And the Goddess is alive
I will take the healing waters
Drink them long and deep inside
Like a river flowing homeward
To my sister, brother kind
Ho! Grandmother
Ho! Grandfather
Heal our hearts,
oh heal our wounds
For the seed of life,
The warmth of sun
The blood mysteries of
the moon
There's a love entwines
around us
Oh let our violence end
For the generations yet
to come
Each relation as a friend
You must take care of the
children
Feed their bodies and
their souls
Remember life is sacred
You're connected and
you're whole
From the music of a whale bone
Changing blackbird in disguise
Sounds of breathing when you
are born
To the last breath when
you die
As I look out to the night sky
As I sing out to the sea
As I walk upon the good Earth
I hear your voice in me.
